Enterprise Car Club
Enterprise Car Club is the UK’s largest car club, providing members with 24/7 access to hundreds of vehicles around the country. We started working with City Car Club back in 2013 – they were acquired by Enterprise in 2016 and we have continued to provide our services for them.
We were initially approached to build an app just to make bookings, but our scoping process allowed us to spot other opportunities to extend the extent of the app’s capabilities. First and foremost, customers needed to use the app to quickly and easily select a vehicle to hire along with their desired time slot.
Using the app, members can find a car, access directions to its location, book it, and finally unlock and lock the vehicle. By writing a bespoke API to handle all of the booking information, we managed to get the app to ‘shake-hands’ with Enterprise Car Club’s very complex vehicle management system.
With the initial version, we worked with City Car Club to drive their current branding forwards, creating a fresh, sleek UI which was still sympathetic to their branding at the time. When it came to rebranding for Enterprise, we repeated the entire process. Users seem to be really enjoying the refreshed look and feel.
